Remember This?: The Original ‘Mortal Kombat’

I don’t know about y’all, but when I was coming up, I couldn’t wait to turn on my Nintendo to whoop somebody’s a** in some Mortal Kombat. I was a young buck when the game first dropped, but that didn’t stop me from getting all into it. I used to love practically all of the characters, but especially Sub-Zero and Scorpion for their finishing moves (“Get over here!”).

Not sure what’s going on with these new Mortal Kombat installments, but the original edition was the shit! I can still hear those verbal markers ringing off in my head, “Fatality!,” “Round 2, Fight!”
