Is This Okay?: Little Girl Shows off Her Pole-Dancing Skills on Romania’s ‘Next Star’

A spinoff of Canada’s The Next Star, Romania’s eponymous hit talent competition highlights talented kids between the ages of three and 13. Now these judges have seen all kinds of craftiness and savvy from little kiddies all over the globe, but were really in awe when 8-year-old Emily Moskalenko came twirling down a pole on season five of the series.

Wayaminute. Where the hell are little Emily’s parents?

Now I know pole-dancing is considered an art and requires serious skills to perform (no, not holding onto a pole while you booty-twerk, but real, perfected pole-dancing–with the spins and errthang), but with the sexual overtones attached to working the pole, is it really appropriate for a little girl to be practicing these kinds of moves? Let alone advertising them for the world to see?

Hmm.

Speak on it!
