Jamaican Dancehall Queen Performs Authentic Dancehall Steps Alphabetically

dancehall steps

If you know anything about Dancehall, you know the culture has some pretty crazy, cool and fun dance moves. From the Ponytail to the Pon di River, the Butterfly to the One Drop (and everybody’s favorite, the classic Wine), JA has given us some unforgettable moves. So since today marks the island’s independence day, why not celebrate with some smooth moves and riddims, Dancehall style? (It’s only right.)

Take a look at this Jamaican Dancehall queen as she alphabetically breaks down a few of the culture’s classic steps. Respect. (Bat bat bat!)

In case you want more, here’s Latonya’s 2014 A-Z dancehall step edition.
