If you’re like me, you’ve been out of school for a while. So math problems that are supposed to be a piece cake and pie can be more like half-cooked ham and chicken bones. Just take this simple math equation for example. But as they say, “It’s always the easy ones that get cha!” Or did I just make that up? Whatever the case, can you figure out what number should replace the question mark? Yeah…good luck!

Hint: It involves addition and the opposite quadrant.
